Emerging Master Painter Jeff Neugebauer Releases New Painting

“Move the Box” Evokes Thoughts and Feelings about Introspection

Mill Valley, Calif. – Sept 14, 2006 – Jeff Neugebauer, a rising star, classically trained painter, based in Mill Valley, CA, has recently released a new painting entitled: “Move the Box”. The painting depicts a man who would be contemplating his own existence if he was not preoccupied with a box that interferes with his perception and captures his mind’s focus. The box in front of him obstructs his vision and prevents him from fully seeing and understanding himself; consequently the box confines the world he lives in. The title “Move the Box” is suggestive of removing the psychological barriers that limit our knowledge and understanding. For more information visit  www.jeffneugebauer.com.

“I aspire to paint images that are beautiful but also are worth thinking about,” said Jeff Neugebauer. “I sincerely hope ‘Move the Box’ motivates generations of people to reflect on themselves – to think about their ‘box’. To think about their lives, dreams, mortality and spirituality. To see themselves and the world around them more clearly and live life with less fear and more open-mindedness.”
