Tomorrow
Words and music by Jynkz

This was the first song written for the album - yet it's the last track. It's a philisophical song of sorts, that I wrote while contemplating my own life and destiny along with mankind's. For some reason, Plato's alegory of the cave crept in and it all ended up with metaphorical monkeys and a funky, circus groove. Sarcasm? Um... yes.

The show is started don't be late
One hundred monkeys on parade
Rings on fire bells on toes
Ride the sacred white buffalo

Tomorrow

Shadows dance across the wall
The monkeys scream and point and scoff
Who will be the first to know?
Heard it on the radio

Tomorrow

Hurry, hurry folks
Step right up
Don't miss the greatest show on earth
Hurry, hurry, hurry

We are merely spectators paying rent
Wondering if common sense is a sin
Riding on a never ending carousel
Close your eyes and spin

Tomorrow

Please open your eyes on the center ring
Where we have humanity the naked clown
Running blindfolded into a wall of flame

High wire elephants and clowns
Trapeze swingers on the ground
A spectacle for every age
Step right up folks, yesterday

Tomorrow

We are merely spectators peeking though the tent
Wondering when the main event begins
Balancing our egos on tandem bicycles
We start exactly where we end

Tomorrow

Who will be the first to know?
