My Name is Romeo is one of those love songs that reminds us how our priorities can get mixed up sometimes. We do our best to make someone happy but we get caught up in what we think we should be doing - bowing to social pressure and ideas - we lose sight of what really matters. Love lost, Romeo wakes up. Even though she's left, he's learned an important lesson, reprioritizes his dreams, and marches on a little wiser.

Originally written by me, I was unsatisified with the progression of the story and overall message. It needed to be more clear so I asked my good friend Alex Amado to make some suggestions. He helped to rewrite the verses and gave the song more strength. Thanks Alex, 'cause what good is a lonely brand new Mercedes Benz?'
