I'll leave this song for you to decide - is it about being seduced and hypnotized by love or is about being so burned that you think you'll never love again? One of these is the right answer but your choice will probably depend on where you're at in your life. Like many of my songs, this one was written on a napkin at one of my favorite beer pubs. The vocals were recorded originally at full force through the song from start to finish but their constant intensity was too 'in your face' so I re-sang this with the verses having more feeling of being in a coma. I liked the consequental shift from the subdued verses to raging chorus. Cheers.
