Mill Valley, Calif. – December 3, 2008 – Jeff Neugebauer, a rising star painter, based in Mill Valley, California, announces his inclusion in the unique Chillin’ Productions event.in San Francisco. Chillin’ Productions will be featuring the best fashion designers, DJs and artists in San Francisco at the exciting one night event. Over a thousand people are expected to attend.
Neugebauer will be exhibiting two of his most recent works, Portrait of a Soldier and Hitman. Neugebauer’s uniquely “real-surreal” figurative paintings will be well complimented by some of the best known and unknown artists in the Bay Area.

Irene Hernandez-Feiks founded Chillin' Productions 7 years ago with the purpose of discovering and aiding Bay Area fashion designers, painters, photographers, filmmakers, DJ's, musicians and performers. Her goal has been to provide exposure and create new opportunities for the artists. Chillin' Productions produces 4 events per year with each event showcasing fashion designers, painters/photographers, filmmakers, DJ's and live music. About Jeff Neugebauer
Jeff Neugebauer has been drawing and painting since he was a child. He has continued this passion throughout his life. Following the Florentine techniques of the Renaissance, Neugebauer has incorporated the knowledge of the great masters into his painting. His work has gained traction among private collectors and museums including the permanent collection of the Arizona State University Art Museum and the Haarmann Reimer Corporate Museum in West Germany. Prior to painting full-time, Neugebauer pioneered the multi-media technology innovation beginning in 1990. He applied his creativity and artistic talents in conjunction with his knowledge and understanding of technology to produce computer-aided designs, animation, and interactive CD-ROMS. As founder and CEO of SpiralWest, Neugebauer led the company to be one of the first in the multi-media industry to develop Web sites and build brand awareness for high profile companies such as Time Warner, Wells Fargo, Intel and Netscape.
Jeff Neugebauer developed his masterful technique through painstaking study of the Renaissance masters such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael, and Caravaggio. Integrating modern, philosophical and often profound concepts with those techniques, Neugebauer’s paintings are similar to the allegorical work by contemporary master Odd Nerdrum. “Ravens Follow Men Into War” is a deeply thought provoking self-portrait by Neugebauer about contemplating the battles we choose in our lives. The painting parallels Nerdrum’s mysteriously intriguing self-portraits.
