Paintings Sold Before Opening at Galleria Icosahedron
NEW YORK and Mill Valley, Calif. – May 23, 2007 – In spite of the popularity unskilled modern art maintains, classically trained painter Jeff Neugebauer from the San Francisco Bay Area hit a home run in New York this month. Nearly half of his paintings being exhibited at Galleria Icosahedron in Tribeca were snatched away by private collectors before the opening night of the show. Neugebauer’s paintings are expertly rendered in a modified Renaissance style with a contemporary twist. Primarily using the figure, Neugebauer delivers profound allegories about life, love and human concerns. For information about Jeff Neugebauer’s paintings, please go to www.jeffneugebauer.com
“It is a great feeling to know that collectors are investing in my paintings,” said Neugebauer. “My work is different – not completely classical and not really modern – but uniquely ‘Neugebauer’. Collectors recognize that uniqueness and its value. I hope my paintings will make a difference in the art community by adding a different flavor, and most importantly by giving collectors a beautiful image that is well painted, well thought-out and something that creates a wow! effect in every possible way.”
Neugebauer’s latest paintings can be seen at Galleria Icosahedron throughout the month of May. The gallery is located at 27 North Moore Street, New York and the phone number is (212) 966-3897.
